It is not a general skincare range with an acne product or two appended to it. Every product in the Biretix collection is formulated to address a specific stage of the acne-prone skin cycle: purifying, treating, and supporting the skin’s barrier through the process.

What Makes Biretix Different
Most over-the-counter acne skincare addresses one part of the problem without considering the skin’s condition as a whole. Biretix takes a different approach, built on two proprietary technologies that work together to comprehensively and tolerably support acne-prone skin.
RetinSphere® Technology
Biretix’s most distinctive ingredient platform, RetinSphere® is a patented retinoid complex exclusive to Cantabria Labs. It combines two retinoid compounds: Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR) and Retinol encapsulated in microsponges, for both immediate and sustained release. This dual-delivery system provides the cell-renewal, pore-refining, and pigmentation-correcting benefits of retinoids while significantly reducing the irritation and dryness that commonly limit retinoid use in acne-prone skin.
RetinSphere® stimulates epidermal renewal, reduces blemishes and pore appearance, addresses post-acne marks and hyperpigmentation, and helps regulate skin cell turnover, making it an active ingredient rather than a supporting agent.
BIOPEP-15
A proprietary antimicrobial peptide technology that targets Cutibacterium acnes (the primary bacteria responsible for inflammatory acne) without disrupting the broader skin microbiome. BIOPEP-15 works to reduce bacterial proliferation and inflammation at the source, complementing the cell-renewal action of RetinSphere® with targeted antibacterial activity.
Together, these technologies are supported by clinically proven active ingredients, including glycolic acid for surface exfoliation, salicylic acid for pore decongestion, and niacinamide for barrier support, sebum regulation, and anti-inflammatory action.
The result is a range that is effective enough to produce measurable clinical improvement while being formulated to be tolerated by sensitive and sensitised skin.

Biretix Cleanser
Available in 200mL and 400mL. A purifying cleansing gel formulated with BIOPEP-15, piroctone olamine (antibacterial and sebum-regulating), propolis extract, and aloe vera. Removes impurities, regulates excess oil, and reduces microbial proliferation without stripping or drying the skin. Physiological pH (5–6), non-comedogenic, and dermatologically tested. Suitable for daily use on combination, oily, and acne-prone skin.
Biretix Tri-Active Gel
A targeted treatment gel combining RetinSphere® and BIOPEP-15 with salicylic acid and niacinamide. Addresses active blemishes, enlarged pores, and blackheads while improving overall skin texture. The first-choice treatment product for patients with mild to moderate acne and visible pore congestion.
Biretix Tri-Active Spray
The same active formulation as the Tri-Active Gel in a spray format, designed for ease of application across larger or harder-to-reach areas such as the back and chest, which are common acne-prone zones that standard topical formats don’t address effectively.
Biretix Duo
A dual-action gel specifically formulated to address both blemishes and early fine lines. Combines RetinSphere® with targeted actives to treat active acne-prone skin while also addressing the textural and ageing concerns that become increasingly relevant in adult acne presentations. Particularly suited to patients in their late 20s and beyond, managing acne alongside early skin ageing.
Biretix Hydramat
A triple-effect moisturiser designed for oily and acne-prone skin that provides up to 72 hours of hydration while simultaneously regulating oil production, mattifying the skin, and preventing the formation of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Non-comedogenic. The daily moisturiser of choice for patients whose skin is actively congested or oily.
Biretix Isorepair
An intensive hydrating recovery cream formulated for skin sensitised by treatment, including oral or topical retinoid therapy, professional chemical peels, and other active skin treatments. Contains barrier repair technology, hyaluronic acid, and soothing agents to restore skin barrier function, reduce tightness and irritation, and support skin recovery without blocking pores. A key product for patients undergoing active treatment programmes.
Biretix Mask
A purifying treatment mask for use 1–2 times weekly. Helps decongest pores, reduce sebum, and clarify the skin between daily product applications. A useful addition for patients with persistently congested or oily skin seeking deeper weekly treatment support.
Biretix Micropeel
A gentle exfoliating treatment with a combination of AHAs and BHAs. Addresses surface texture, dullness, and mild post-inflammatory marks. Suitable for use between professional chemical peel treatments to maintain the exfoliation and renewal process at home.

Biretix is formulated for adults with oily, combination, and acne-prone skin, particularly those dealing with mild to moderate acne, persistent congestion, post-blemish marks, enlarged pores, or skin sensitised by active treatment.
